A causemedia agency is looking to add a Part-Time Copywriter to their team. This is a remote role working Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays (approximately 20 hours weekly)

The successful candidate should have:

Ability to translate a creative brief into powerful copy that captures a client’s marketing and communication objective

An eye for accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to recognize the nuances of very specialized audiences and communications

Keep up with current trends, current events, and cultural activities

Manage their writing assignments and prioritize projects to ensure on-time delivery

Follow Function Point procedures as directed in the tasks and comments

Complete other tasks as requested by management

Make themselves available after agency hours as often as possible during peak periods
and deadlines

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, communications, or equivalent experience

Strong writing background supported with excellent writing samples

Ability to write in a variety of styles and able to adapt tone of voice

Minimum of 6-8 years of agency or communications experience

Experience working in all mediums, including print, web, digital, out of home, and video

Skills & Requirements

Must be a strong writer with experience writing compelling copy for small or large projects from concept to completion.

Must be able to create short, compelling headlines and taglines. They should be equally comfortable writing long form copy.

Should offer input and share ideas at internal creative meetings

Must be familiar using Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Help maintain a clean server

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to accept new responsibilities and respond positively to instructions and
creative direction
