INSTRUCTOR of COMPUTER SCIENCE
LAKELAND COLLEGE, a liberal arts institution located in east central Wisconsin, seeks qualified candidates for a non-tenure-track, renewable appointment in Computer Science, to begin August 2014. The successful candidate will be able to provide quality instruction in a wide range of undergraduate computer science courses, distributed over two semesters and a May term. Annual teaching load is 24 credits, some of which may be delivered through the college’s evening, weekend, and online platform. Supervision of student internships in computer science is expected, as is advising and institutional service.
A master's degree in computer science or related field is required. Candidates who bring a combination of professional experience and postsecondary teaching experience in multiple programming languages, current operating systems, computer architecture, networking and security, and/or the basics of artificial intelligence are preferred. Compensation will be commensurate with background and experience.
