Amex GBT Group Tax comprises a team of tax professionals, located in the US and UK, whose responsibility is to manage GBT’s global tax affairs, comprising tax compliance, planning and advice to the business. As a result of an internal reorganization, a new position for an International Tax Manager has been created within the team, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to be part of and contribute to an ambitious, dynamic and influential corporate function.
Located in Farnborough, Hampshire, the successful candidate can expect to gain good and varied exposure to the tax issues affecting the business on a global scale.
Group Tax currently operates a flat reporting structure under the VP Tax and Pensions, thus promoting a strong team ethic. The position will work closely with the VP Tax and Pensions, alongside other Tax Managers , as well as interacting with GBT colleagues at all levels across the organization and external advisers.
The position will be primarily project focused on:
Mergers & Acquisitions
International tax planning
Required qualifications and experience:
Minimum 5-7 years’ relevant tax experience
Strong technical tax skills
Exposure to international, M&A or tax structuring
Solid accounting knowledge
