Junior Designer

From the outset, we built an agency capable of answering the needs of future-facing clients - those who demand big brand ideas without the heavy overheads of complex structures, multiple departments or the reliance on paid media. And, we love to partner with ambitious marketers and partners, who like us, believe that in today's opt-out culture attention can no longer be bought, it must be earned first.

We always strive to create earned-first ideas that truly matter, from brand platforms to one-off posts, the ones that will 'Rise Above the Noise' of culture, rise above the conventions of category and rise above the constraints of siloed, 'traditional' advertising. Because we believe these are the ideas that earn their place in consumers' lives and drive the most effective business outcomes.

We combine the rigor of advertising and brand planning with the relevance of earned and the efficiency of nimble production. It's how we create ideas that people and the media want to talk about and share. We call it earned-first, it's advertising that's so good, it doesn't feel like advertising.

About the role

Make it up, make it happen.

We're looking for a Designer who wants to help organizations get their messages out using beautiful design.

Collaborate with everyone – fellow creatives, strategists, media and account teams, and clients to ensure your ideas are always relevant and served up in the most breakthrough way possible.

Superhero style – usually you're teaming up, but sometimes you're solo. You must be just as comfortable collaborating as working on your own.

Maker's mindset – be thinking about execution and production in every idea, ready to make it yourself if that's the best way to do it or sell it. Extra points if you're the one holding the camera.

Client's favorite – you'll be face-to-face with the client, understanding their hopes and dreams, and presenting ideas they can't wait to say yes to.

Multi-tasker – some days you might be guiding a brand's visual strategy on social media, and other days you might be building a jaw-dropping pitch deck. You should be willing to jump in on anything, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

Idea machine – you're not just making other people's ideas look beautiful, you're thinking of the ideas themselves where the visuals do the talking.

Proactive thinking – you're always bringing new ideas because you know not every opportunity lives within the brief.

Truffle pig - hunt for, and share out with the rest of the team, what's breaking in culture BEFORE it breaks in culture.

  • 0-1 years of graphic design experience in advertising, social, or digital media.
  • Social native - you must speak internet fluently, from TikTok to IG to YouTube. You can start a trend, not just jump on one.
  • You know all the programs, and how to get the most out of them. Including native design within IG Stories, TikTok and others. Photography, video, illustration, typography, animation – you have talents in every kind of visual storytelling.
  • You'll need know Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, AfterEffects and be totally proficient on a Mac. Bonus for experience with Premiere or similar video editing software.
  • Varied experience – show that you can flex across different types of brands and tones.
  • Nice person – because we spend too much time with each other, on screens or in-person, not to be nice.
