Summary

Our busy and family-oriented practice is looking for a conscientious and friendly Medical Receptionist for full-time at our Regional Knoxville office (Monday - Friday). The successful candidate will be a team player with solid clerical skills and a passion for taking care of people.

Qualifications:

Excellent people skills with great eye contact.
Neat, well-groomed, professional appearance.
Excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant voice.
Good keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities:

Greets, engages and communicates well with patients and their families.
Works with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Serves in check-in, check-out, and medical record roles.
Answers telephones responding to inquiries or routing to appropriate staff.
Performs insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
Appointment scheduling, reminders and confirmation.
Documents and updates demographic and clinical data in EMR.
Other clerical duties as required or assigned.
