Who We Look For
The ideal candidate has an excellent prospecting and close track record in the payments industry and demonstrates the ability to prospect, close and manage association, chamber and referral bank relationships.
§ Outbound prospecting, including call campaigns and appointments, as well as presenting proposals to prospective customers.
§ Select and sell products and services to defined target markets.
§ Meet or exceed defined sales goals and standards for business development performance.
§ Leverage existing network of clientele to identify and prospect new business referrals.
§ Develop and maintain a consistent sales pipeline.
§ Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge and understanding of the acquiring/credit card industry and TSYS Merchant Solutions products and services.
§ Maintain awareness of all new developments in products and services as well as policy, technology and sales initiatives.
§ Work corroboratively with all TSYS Merchant Solutions Sales and Relationship Management representatives to ensure prospective and new customers are effectively boarded and established with relationship management.
§ Identify and communicate potential 3rd Party partnership opportunities for future business, including Association and Value Added Reseller (VAR) opportunities.
§ Four year college degree and two years of professional experience or high school diploma or equivalent and four or more years of professional experience
§ Minimum two years of sales experience
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills
§ Ability to work independently on detailed projects
§ Proven analytical abilities to develop product and pricing proposals
§ Demonstrated problem-solving skills
§ Proven ability to cold call for sales acquisition
§ Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
§ Ability to communicate at all "C" levels
§ Previous experience with Blackberry technologies, iPad, Salesforce
§ Demonstrated successful performance in previous sales jobs
