You’ll be the definitive point of contact for assigned clients, developing and maintaining relationships, driving PR strategy, and providing PR counsel. As the successful candidate, you are:
A self-starter with at least 4 years of agency/in-house PR experience (enterprise technology or investor relations experience is a plus)
Experience in cloud, virtualization, mobile, wireless, or other emerging technology sectors is a plus
A fierce communicator with strong media relations and contacts
A leader who can foster the growth and development of junior staff and provide mentoring
Creative and like to think outside the box, yet organized and detail-oriented
Deliverable and deadline-driven

Your position responsibilities will include:
Work directly with each assigned client to build and maintain strong working relationships, earn client confidence, and effectively manage simple to challenging situations
Maintain a thorough understanding of client industries and translate that to trusted PR counsel
Set client expectations, drive PR strategy, and translate it into a roadmap for execution across all programs for each assigned account (press outreach, analyst relations, product launches, awards, speaking engagements, social media)
Act as the first point of contact with each assigned client, managing the flow of work and information to account team members
Interview client customers and draft case studies
Assist in developing crisis communication strategy
Finalize quarterly plans and recaps
Media-train new spokespeople as necessary
Mentor junior staff for successful professional growth and development in all facets of PR, from strategy to press to positioning feedback to a client
Contribute significantly to BPR’s new business development, including confidently leading new business pitches with potential clients
