Title: Coordinator, Product Development
Reporting to: Supervisor, Product Development

Job Summary:

This position will support Product Development with contract and master tour bank preparation for 15-20 tours. The coordinator will assemble, distribute, and maintain the Operating Turnover within department deadlines while adhering to the company’s mission to offer guests an exceptional value and an excellent travel experience.

  • Assemble, distribute and maintain contract and menu information for Operating Turnover with a goal to distribute 150 days prior
  • Review all contract information and costing to create Master Tour bank with a completion goal 30 days prior to the first departure
  • Create or update primary vendor agreements in collaboration with the Product Manager
  • Negotiate and contract secondary vendor services based on guidelines provided by Product Manager
  • Responsible for menu selections throughout the tour based on guidelines
  • Provide monthly booking updates to vendors (as needed)
  • Create/update technical itineraries for tours which may require input from others
  • Proof with Product Manager the pre departure day by days
  • General support to Product Manager (s) such as creating tour changes, requesting additional space, creating flowcharts, space addendums and program summaries, research potential partners (primary or secondary), assist with adjustments on the ground based on tour changes or flight schedules, road trip preparation
  • Compile competitive analysis for specified areas
  • Offer input on any quality improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with colleagues and external vendors
  • Self-directed and ability to work with minimal supervision while demonstrating critical thinking as well as the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word & Excel; Adobe knowledge helpful
  • Preference and past success for a fast-paced environment
  • Two to five years prior travel industry experience preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with others and contribute in a team environment
