Build.com is run highly autonomously and essentially acts as the direct to consumer digital arm of Ferguson.

As part of the Build Brand team you will:
  • Be the voice of the user
  • Work with Director or Senior Product Manager to define product vision & execution strategy
  • Execute the product strategy for the area
  • Work in thematic areas to drive value
  • Work with Director or Senior Product Manager to determine market fit
Responsibilities:
  • Work with Director or Senior Product Manager to develop and implement product vision and strategies consistent with company vision
  • Gather and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and products
  • Partner and collaborate with senior management to create product plans and roadmaps
  • Lead product team and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Produce and review problem statements and user stories
  • Consistently prioritize product backlog
  • Ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule
  • Make recommendations to expand product and vision
  • Start creating quarterly product themes and goals
  • Start defining KPIs to iteratively trend toward product goals
Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role
  • Background in user experience, software development, or program management is preferred
  • Design thinking mindset
  • Experience working in Agile framework
  • Organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinking skills
  • Self motivated with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Ability to effectively engage and motivate large groups by providing thought leadership
  • Adaptable and proactively able to move with change while maintaining a positive attitude
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, or related field MS desired
