CAS Group is currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) for our client located in Denver, CO. The PM will manage mid to large scale projects to support building and improving data centers for various telecom initiatives. The initiatives are both strategic and tactical (ad hoc). PM will be responsible for driving deliverables to ensure project goals, timelines, and budgets are met. Collaborates with other members to define scope, timelines, and prerequisites. Supports and maintains project documentation and SharePoint sites. Candidate needs to actively follow up on project next steps and action items. When warranted, candidate needs to escalate risks and issue to management as well as resolving issues that affect project scope, timeline, and quality.
Candidate must have experience working with projects involving data center management (stand up, upgrade, consolidation)
Knowledge of networking in telecom/cable applications
Knowledge of core, backbone, and optical components connectivity and network interaction
7+ years of experience with project management
Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university; or equivalent training, education, and experience
Ability to lead cross functional meetings with internal and external teams
Ability to use MS Office and Project proficiently
Experience in Network Operations
Excellent analytical, written and oral communication skills required
Ability to develop an understanding of products and infrastructure
Works well with diverse teams
(Preferred) Experience with Clarity PPM and/or SharePoint
(Preferred) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
