RH2 Engineering, Inc., (www.rh2.com) is a multi-disciplinary, employee-owned consulting firm headquartered in Bothell, with eight offices throughout Washington and Oregon. We provide high-quality engineering and scientific services primarily to municipal clients. RH2 is hiring a full-time Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join our marketing team in the Bothell office.

This fast-paced position requires a team player who shows initiative and takes ownership of his/her areas of responsibility. The ideal candidate will bring together top notch organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills along with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality. Preferred candidates will have 3-5 years' experience in the RFQ/RFP and interview preparation process in engineering, construction, architectural or similar industry. Strong copy writing, editing and proofreading skills are essential. A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English or related field is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assume the lead role in preparation of responses to RFQs & RFPs through collaboration with project managers and with input from various team members
  • Read and analyze RFQs/RFPs and establish priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review and approval in order to meet proposal deadlines
  • Edit proposal content for readability, consistency, clarity and compliance with requirements, minimizing style differences from multiple authors and contributors
  • Maintain proposal tracking system and participate in weekly meetings
  • Develop and maintain library of boiler plate qualifications materials including staff resumes, project descriptions, and company profiles
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in both the quality of our responses and the efficiency of the response process
  • Prepare and review interview materials and presentations
  • Assist project teams in preparation of deliverables to ensure consistency of corporate image
  • Maintain brand integrity and quality control in all proposals and marketing materials
  • Manage electronic and hard copy files

Other Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and prepare materials for special events
  • Assist with development and maintenance of marketing materials including brochures, case studies, presentations and website content

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills with the ability to respond to constantly changing needs and schedules
  • Ability to lead projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams in multiple offices
  • Excellent verbal, written and group communication skills with proven writing and editing experience
  • Superior follow through capabilities and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Minimum of 3 years’ related experience, preferably in engineering, construction, architecture or related industry
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, English or a related field is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint; experience with InDesign is a plus
