Who we are:

NewHomesMate is a marketplace that helps home buyers find, compare, and buy new construction homes. We are driven by the goal of creating the main destination for the entire new construction process and decreasing the homeownership barrier. In doing this, we aim to accomplish our goal of providing an exceptional home buying experience to our buyers every time. We are currently active in Austin, DFW, Houston, Orlando, Jacksonville and Tampa areas.

Requirements:

- At least 2 years as a writer and/or editor, with some experience in the real estate domain and working in-house for a company(vs news media)

- Experience producing content across formats and topics that drives business results

- Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail

- An ability to understand and simplify complex topics

- Time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects at once

- A strong desire to learn about New Constructions Real Estate and how the NeHomesMate process works

Responsibilities:

- Develop high quality content that supports NewHomesMate business objectives while delighting and educating prospective and current customers

- Write in a variety of formats (e. g. long-form guides, blog posts, FAQs, emails, data-driven, potentially video) and on a variety of topics (e. g. NewHomesMate product education, real estate, customer stories, hyperlocal content to support new market launches)

- Consider the context and channels through which your content will be discovered and read (organic search, social media, customer browsing the NewHomesMate website)

- Collaborate with the design team to generate visually appealing content

- Use customer empathy, feedback, and data to inform how to iterate on existing content
