The Regional Vice President (RVP) will be responsible for leading a team of growing the company’s revenue, developing long-term customer relationships that will ensure sales and profitability, and entering new customer/business segments in accordance with the strategic company goals. Position reports directly to SVP of Sales and Marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Help drive the company’s sales strategy
  • Supervising a sales force, sales administration and business development strategies
  • Support and lead a technology enabled, solutions-oriented commercial team
  • Make sales calls to current and potential customers sale of 3PL Freight Management, Multi Modal Brokerage, Contract -Parcel, LTL and multi modal truckload, dedicated trucking, warehouse, cross dock and distribution services
  • SaaS solution sales (Mercury gate and Oracle OTM Consulting and integration services for technology.
  • Report on department activity as requested
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Managed Solutions Background and Success History
  • Minimum 10 years demonstrated success selling freight under management services
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analysis, and networking skills
  • Strong leadership skills; takes initiative and leads by example
  • Flexibility to quickly adapt to business need and/or industry changes
  • Strategic thinker
  • Outside Transportation Sales Management Experience
  • Energetic and positive business professional
  • Strong non-asset truckload brokerage/3PL history (preferred)
  • Account following (a plus)
