As Regulatory Manager you will work within our Flavour Regulatory Department in a team unit operating in Western European markets. You will be responsible for leading, maintaining and enhancing customer information and support through strong customer focus, clear accountability, regulatory advice and advocacy to ensure product safety and compliance with focus on the French market.

Provide external and internal customers with consistent and compliant product safety and legislative expertise
Monitor flavoring and food regulatory and legislative developments, identify early issues that impact the business and advise the business on eventual risks
Interpret and ensure compliance with laws and regulations resulting in reduced liability
Interact with commercial teams delivering regulatory consulting based on business processes and internal regulatory systems and procedures and industry and regulatory requirements in an expeditious timeframe
Utilize functionalities of internal SAP based regulatory systems and databases to support key compliance and safety initiatives
Ensure integrity of regulatory database as well as protection of regional intellectual property
Represent Givaudan at Trade Associations and with Authorities providing the company position
Develop and implement internal policies, processes and procedures and trainings for team members/new hires/stakeholders
Establish relationships with assigned customer contacts including participation/leading to customer visits/meetings

Your professional profile includes:
University / Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific field such as Chemistry or Food, Biological or Physical sciences
A minimum of 5 years relevant regulatory experience in Flavours or Food or related industry
Extensive knowledge of the food industry regulatory issues and trends but also thorough understanding of its customer regulatory requirements
Strong communication (both oral and written) and Networking skills

Strong team spirit
Project Management skills
Business Fluency in English and French is a must, additional language is a plus
