About the role:
Revenue operations is a rapidly growing category that has attracted substantial investment and demand in recent years. Furthermore, software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses continue to excel and define the standard operating model of the software industry. At Zego, you’ll participate in the intersection of these trends while learning best practices from a SaaS business that has achieved 20%+ recurring revenue growth with double-digit margins. You’ll assume responsibility for high-importance tasks that directly impact sales efficacy and go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will be a structured and analytical thinker who is capable of generating quality insights from large sets of data and possesses an exceptional attention to detail. The role will be heavily involved in organizational performance management. A successful candidate is a continuous learner who will quickly understand the factors that impact revenue performance, be able to explain the underlying causes behind performance changes, and create or tailor dashboards, reports, and scorecards that accurately reflect these factors and their trends in a way that is clearly presented and easily understandable.

What you’ll do here:
Understand, report, and distribute key revenue-team performance metrics
Maintain, monitor, and enhance weekly and monthly reporting across sales, marketing, and customer success teams
Leverage and analyze revenue data from platforms such as Gong, Groove, InsightSquared, Salesforce, and Looker to uncover actionable insights and trends
Optimize key sales systems and tools
Provide analytical support for annual GTM plans
Continuously improve the quality and accessibility of valuable data to our sales, marketing, and customer success teams
Drive consistency, predictability, and continuous improvement throughout our revenue team
Inform strategic analysis through data-based recommendations for revenue team improvement
Ad hoc report and dashboard creation
About you:
2+ years of experience in quantitative roles such as Sales Ops, FP&A, consulting, or data analysis, preferably within the software industry
Bachelor’s degree (required)
Exceptional Excel skills (required)
SF admin experience a plus
Proficient in MS Office Applications, Google Apps, Looker, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.com , Insight Squared
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines in fast-paced and high-performing environment
Personal sense of pride in work product and emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to dig into data, analyze, and surface actionable insight
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Internally-motivated and intellectually curious
A graduate of a four-year university highly preferred

WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Learn the revenue tech stack
Understand how data flows through the revenue funnel
Produce accurate monthly GTM scorecards
Have a firm understanding of the factors that impact revenue team performance
Understand market and industry dynamics
Be able to confidently create accurate reports and dashboards
Materially improve account-level data within Salesforce
Maintain the commission software tool and review monthly sales commission
Answer the “SO WHAT?” questions
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL:
Understand the business and each product in detail
Thoroughly understand the value prop of our products and platform
Understand the revenue funnel, key metrics at each stage of the funnel, and how to calculate these metrics
Be an expert in revenue team performance reporting and understand where data can be found
Assume full responsibility of weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue team performance reporting to all stakeholders
Manage relationships with sales tech stack vendors
Proactively identify and thoughtfully recommend initiatives for improvement
Answer the “NOW WHAT?” questions
The US base salary for this full-time position is $75,000. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
