The Sales Operations Coordinator is a key member of the Sales team reporting to the VP of Sales.

You will be responsible for supporting our Sales team through creating, reviewing, and verifying details around proposals, RFPs, contracts and negotiated agreements as well as generating and maintaining reporting and sales documentation.

You’ll also partner across the company with various other departments (Product Management, Client Support, Finance, Production, Marketing, etc.) to provide strategic analysis, operational support and ensure business controls, compliance, and effective communications (via SalesForce.com and/or other tools) to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

What you will do…

SalesForce.com (Client Relationship Management)

  • Responsible for the overall implementation, operation, training, and administration of EMS’s SalesForce.com database system

Pricing and Contract Management

  • Create, manage and execute RFP responses
  • Generate and manage contracts and proposals
  • Process purchase orders and internal PO documentation
  • Create and maintain proposals, including ensuring that documentation is updated with new features and requirements (e.g., server & computer specifications based on quarterly release notes, new and/or updated system functionality, etc.)

Sales Operations and Planning

  • Manage scheduling of tours, reference calls and related account credits for the company’s Rewards program
  • Assist with quarterly and annual Sales forecasting and reporting
  • Analyze current sales trends, market conditions and other pertinent information to ensure all areas are capable of meeting customer needs
  • Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the Sales team via strategic analysis of operational data
  • Evaluate trends from reports/tools and determine reasons behind slow and fast selling products

Sales Productivity and Execution

  • Serve as active resource for Inside Sales team
  • Coordinate and assist with the recruiting, hiring, training, and integration of new Sales team members necessary to support the EMS (in partnership with the Sales leadership team, Human Resources and other departments)
  • Explore various operational applications of high performing sales team models and identify/facilitate possible opportunities for implementation.

  • Well-rounded business background with a broad understanding of marketing and financials
  • Proven teamwork skills that show effectiveness working with a high-performing team
  • Demonstrable presentation skills, delivering to peers and top-level management
  • Both results-oriented and collaborative, able to work as part of a team and independently while managing demands from multiple individuals
  • Strong influencing skills - providing guidance, direction and feedback to sales team members
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • One to three years’ experience of successful sales operations and/or sales management preferred
  • Successful experience in the IT/Medical/Education industry a plus
  • Experience managing strategic accounts, sales operations and sales / physician education a plus
  • Verifiable track record of success implementing strategic plans and increasing sales and profitability
  • Experience using SalesForce.com or equivalent CRM tool
  • Advanced Microsoft skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
