We are looking for a talented Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build our desktop and mobile web experiences for our U.S. e-commerce marketplace. The candidate will be working with product managers and designers in a start-up like environment.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
5+ years of software engineering with full development life cycle
3+ years of Ruby on Rails programming and debugging skills
3+ years working in a software as a service environment (e-commerce or other high scale services)
Software development experience in Ruby, C#, Java and/or Swift
Experience with modern web frameworks such as ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, React
Experience providing technical leadership for a team
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
Strong ability to design software and system architectures, and communicate them effectively
Experience improving web latency in complex large-scale deployments
Experience creating new successful REST APIs
Create reliable/maintainable code, and find creative and scalable solutions to difficult problems
Demonstrate leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices
