Senior Staff Engineer - DEVOPS

8-10 years of experience in Build and Release engineering, DevOps scripting, and automation in Linux environments
5 years of solid experience as software development engineer, familiar with C/C++, Java, Python programming language and Go etc.
Experience with troubleshooting and testing on high end storage key features, like pair active-active nodes, large scale, failover/failback, cluster, reliability, high availability, etc.
Experienced with micro service architecture is a plus.
Experienced with container technology like Docker, LXD is a plus.
Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines, tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, Puppet, Chocolatey, etc. for Cloud based application development and deployment to Azure
Hands-on experience working with build scripts and tools
Solid understanding of software development life cycle, test driven development, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Self-motivated, exceptional ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple project demands
Excellent verbal and written communication to effectively work with distributed engineering teams using Agile development methodologies
Team player with demonstrated collaboration skills to work with IT/Lab, production operations and engineering scrum teams.
Leadership skills and ability to mentor junior members
Full understanding of overall business and competitive environment, including business and strategic direction of the organization.
Architect and build DEVOPS solution for Huawei storage products.
Provide IAAS/Lab as a service/ QA as a service solution across the organization.
Develop micro-service based solution to manage and orchestrate storage services (Features).
Build, maintain and improve Build and Release infrastructure for multiple release streams of Enterprise Scale n-tier software products
Design, build and maintain a secure Windows and Linux based server infrastructure
Design, enhance, build and maintain automated deployment and orchestration of infrastructure (CI/CD)
Deploy and manage artifact repository management tools (Nuget, etc.) and configuration management tools
Collaborate with scrum teams to establish and maintain automated regression suite infrastructure, performance testing infrastructure and troubleshoot issues
Incorporate and maintain static and dynamic code analyzers, code coverage tools in build infrastructure
Manage software release activities, escrow process for main software releases, cumulative hot-fixes, etc.
Providing capabilities (services) to allow development teams to be self-sufficient
Design, develop, improve operational processes including automated backup and recovery procedures, security and patch management
Create and maintain run books and operational documentation
Driving root cause analysis and resolution
Analyze performance and capacity for all components in the engineering lab environments
Evaluate advancements in DevOps, new infrastructure and tools; look for ways to bring more effectiveness and efficiency
