Overview
Quickly and accurately fulfill customer orders to provide exemplary service and make a positive, lasting impression of the Brand. Process incoming and outgoing shipment while achieving operational and productivity standards. Assist management in modeling and coaching stock team on routines and disciplines that maximize productivity/efficiency, ensure accurate inventory, achieve selling/service targets and keep the store a neighborhood destination for inspiration.

Responsibilities

Flawlessly executes customer fulfillment across all (Omni) channels leveraging all services (BOPIS,

SFS, STS, Home Delivery, Installation) to ensure method used meets customer’s needs while maintaining profitability.

Provides exemplary service as top priority.
Models selling and service behaviors for the team. Suggests additional items and promotes

Design Crew for every BOPIS order fulfilled to drive sales, conversion and promote store’s design services.

Models, trains and coaches individual productivity and performance related to fulfillment, processing, packing and stockroom standards. Ensures processing and packing routines are in place to reduce loss/shrink and prevent breakage.
Manages shipping and processing stations, product staging areas and supplies to ensure efficient receipt and packing of incoming and outgoing merchandise. Partners with General Manager or

Omni Operations Manager to ensure effective space planning that accounts for allocation and fulfillment.

Maximizes efficiency and reduces footsteps (picking orders for fulfillment by department, walking each department once, packing orders completely before printing shipping labels and staging orders for quick pick up).
Packs/bags all orders neatly and safely across all delivery methods to minimize breakage and maintain the Brand’s image. Reduces waste by storing and reusing shipping boxes for SFS.
Performs routine audits and reconciliations (UPS, DIAR, Markdown) and establishes daily disciplines to eliminate loss/shrink (lost cartons, mis pics, MOS, returns, RTV).
Supports sustainability and gift in kind efforts/programs.
Partners with management, inventory planning and DC/Hub and delivery teams to resolve customer service issues with urgency.
Performs in the moment stock checks to fulfill customer orders and communicates out of stocks.
Tickets merchandise and performs markdowns.
Supports floor changes and seasonal floor sets building floor models and displays.
Replenishes/recovers salesfloor and stockroom to visual, merchandising and operating standards.
Supports sustainability and gift in kind efforts/programs.
Performs duties as assigned.
Models/coaches to “Safety First” and “People First” mindset to ensure a positive work environment where safety standards are met and associates feel respected and valued for their contributions.

Qualifications & Requirements

1-2 years of stockroom experience
1-2 years of customer service experience strongly preferred
Basic product knowledge & passion for our Brand
Exceptional time management & organizational skills to execute multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent communication skills & ability to provide world-class customer service at the back door
Must be able to be mobile in the stockroom or sales floor for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift & mobilize medium to large items, up to.100lbs,, while utilizing appropriate equipment & safety techniques.

Employment/promotion to this role will be contingent on successful completion of a background check.
Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business.
Casual associates (PB, PK and WE): Must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and one during the week

(Monday to Thursday). Associates must be available for annual inventory and entire holiday season (November and December). o Example: Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday andSunday). If preferred, an associate can also choose to have all three shifts of availability on the weekend (Friday to Sunday) and none during the week (Monday to Thursday).

Casual Associate (WS): Must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts during the weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday) and two regularly scheduled shifts during weekdays. o Example: An associate has open availability on Saturday, but does not have Sunday availability. The associate still satisfies the requirement of having two available shifts on the weekend, both just happen to be on Saturday.
