Currently seeking a Senior Mobile Device Management Engineer to support the design, implementation, monitoring, management, change management, software upgrades, problem/incident resolution, and root cause analysis of GSA’s Mobile Devices. The Senior Mobile Device Management Engineer shall perform Level 3 / Tier 3 Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineering and Administration of applicable mobile devices to include all phases of the life cycle, including review, testing, implementing security and compliance, cellular service plans, troubleshooting and device recycling. Currently GSA’s mobile device environment includes a mix of both Android and Apple iOS devices and includes flip phones, smartphones, and tablets. GSA MDM solutions include MaaS360, Google MDM, and Apple DEP.

Qualifiers:

Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certification Required

Public Trist Clearance by start date

ITIL v4 Foundation Training & Certification obtained by 120 days after hire

Tier 3 level mobile device engineering

Experience with Android, Apple iOS devices i.e., flip phones, smartphones, tablets

Experience with Mobile Device Management solutions: MaaS360, Google MDM, Apple DEP

100% remote, work on EST

RESPONSIBILITIES

This position shall perform the following (to include but not limited to) activities:

-Leads consulting services to members of professional staff and to the customer in the analysis and design data processing systems, management systems, scientific systems, and other related areas

-Makes technical decisions on kinds of data to be gathered and methods to be used in data collection and analysis

-Leads technical direction, guidance, and assistance to assigned projects, suggesting efficient approaches and methods for solving problems

-Provides technical leadership for the integration or requirements, design and technology

-Manages and ensures the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, continually updating it as various changes are imposed on the system during the lifecycle from development through deployment and operations and maintenance

-In conjunction with system stakeholders, plans the verification efforts of new and unproven designs early in the development lifecycle to ensure compliance to established requirements

-Supports the planning and test analysis of the DoD Certification/Accreditation Process (as well as other Government Certification and Accreditation (C&A) processes)

-Develops analytical and computational techniques and methodology for problem solution

-Prepares and presents written and oral reports

-Prepares and presents proposals, or portions thereof, primarily in field of specialty

-Analyzes diagnoses, and recommends solutions to complex systems problems

-Serves as lead analyst for research project

-Develops advanced concepts of automation and information processing, display, control, and transfer for various subsystems

-Conducts research and analysis of algorithms and defines data structures that lead to highly efficient system design parameters

-Ultimately responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility

-Escalate issues to vendor and third-party entities, as necessary and directed by the Government.

This following are REQUIRED for this position:

--Bachelor's Degree

-Professional Google Workspace Administrator Certification is required

-ITILv4 Foundation Training and ITILv4 Foundation Certification, may be obtained within 120 days after hire.

-6 -10 years of direct experience providing Level / Tier 3 network engineering and operations support.

-Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.

-Public Trust Clearance by start date.

-Provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.

-Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.

-Has domain and expert technical knowledge.

-Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.

-Interactions involve client negotiations and interfacing with senior management.

-Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project implementation.

-Research, design, develop, or test computer or computer-related equipment for commercial, industrial, military, or scientific use.

Pay: $79,423.03 - $179,767.53 per year
