​​Day to day:

​Greet and Meet every customer while working at the store. Make sure that all customers questions have been answered by a member of our staff to the customers satisfaction. Assist in the buying process of all customers by assisting the sales staff in selling the customer what meets the customer needs. Operate store and its daily functions while adhering to the procedures, policies and guidelines set by APPLIANCE DIRECT. Perform the basic store operations: opening, closing, accounting, scheduling, interviewing, receiving, shipping, pricing, systems, selling, accuracy of paperwork, following proper procedures on all sales transactions including bank cards, checks, cash, finance and all other forms of payments, merchandising, etc. Maintain accurate records and responsibility of inventory including closing of tickets, stock levels, mix and bar coding.

​​ Responsibilities:

​ All functions of the delivery department including loading/unloading, staging, verifying model/serial numbers and inspecting appliances for delivery or pick up.

​​ Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness in all areas of store. Assist customers and staff in all business related areas.

​​ Train all employees in their specific and described job functions/descriptions.

​​ Perform other duties as required and assigned. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and all aspects of the employee handbook.

​​ Physical/Mental requirements:

​Continuous standing and walking with periods of sitting, turning, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, lifting, cleaning, loading, unloading, carrying, pushing, talking, hearing, seeing and pulling. Working with average or heavy weight merchandise. Using telephone, computer, scanner and non-mechanical moving equipment. Working primarily inside with or without air conditioning or heat, occasional noise, adequate lighting, moving objects, working with and around other people or alone. Must be polite and courteous towards customers and employees. Required to work a minimum of 51.5 hours per week. Personal sales productivity expected to be at $100,000 a month. Company requires you to have personal transportation to work, at work, from work. You must be able to make Bank Deposits securely, and get to Store directly to follow up on a Store Alarm.

​​ Training/Experience:

​Basic training with experienced personnel on movement of merchandise and sales practices. Basic computer skills to include typing. Ability to use basic math and calculator. Write legibly. Requires at least 6 months of previous selling and/or management experience.​​​
