Pay your employees what they are worth
Remember that all departments are needed for a decent gross income
Ensure that your salaried personnel are compensated well

I have been working at Fresenius Kabi USA full-time (More than 10 years)

      Pros

Pay is decent and there is overtime available for some, but not all Supervisors; depends on the dept and who your boss is

      Cons

Upper Management is verbally and sometimes physically abusive, they only care about the almighty dollar; work life balance is horrible for the Plant employees....if you're at Corp, doing nothing all day, you're work life balance is perfect. They put on a front that they care about the employees' families by proclaiming that they'll "close" for Holidays but then ever single Holiday they have some excuse for pressuring (forcing) employees to work, but saying it's "volunteer only"......joke!

At the beginning of a huge expansion phase, you'd think people would be excited and want to stay; unfortunately because of the way the plant is run people are still looking to jump ship at the first opportunity because those who are actually working to make the money for the Co will just have more pressure on them to perform. The workers will continue to get crappy raises and bonuses while the elitists at the top, especially at Corp, will take all the money and the credit.

It's tiring seeing so many good people work so hard for no appreciation. They're people who actually care about the patients that we make drugs for, but Corp and upper management doesn't care at all; as long as they get time with their families and take all of the money.

      Advice to Management

Pay attention and listen to your Supervisors....they know a whole lot more than the higher bosses.
