AxisCare is looking for a Technical Writer to join our team who is passionate about building tools to transform home care operations. At AxisCare we serve seniors by simplifying and streamlining the operations of home care agencies - allowing them to focus their attention on providing excellent care to seniors. As part of our development team, you will have a direct impact on the productivity of those serving on the front lines of home care.

AxisCare’s headquarters is in Waco, TX, but this position can be remote.

Here is what you can expect at AxisCare:

Create and maintain documentation covering the entire scope of AxisCare’s enterprise solution.
Work with technical team members to create and maintain content for efficient ongoing use of the solution as well as onboarding new customers.
Determine the most effective approach to present information for greatest user comprehension.
· Generate innovative ideas for content solutions and overall direction.
Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
Provide feedback on content developed by other members of the team.
Contribute to the team’s effectiveness during sprint retrospectives by identifying areas of opportunities for greater efficiency and outcomes.
Work directly with AxisCare users to gain feedback on content to improve.

Qualifications:

2+ years of technical writing experience. SaaS environment preferred.
You can work in highly collaborative environment with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability.
You can work in an environment where approach to content is fluid, and you are able to embrace change to improve.
You can work seamlessly in a remote team environment.
You are interested in continually learning and mastering new skills.
You communicate complex ideas and concepts simply and concisely.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You are highly organized, self-motivated, creative and love to bring order.
You ask the right questions and get the right details from highly technical and busy team members.
You can work with a team organized around the central time zone.
