TOP PROGRAM- AFTERSCHOOL FACILITATOR

Adagio Health Inc is looking to hire a full-time Afterschool Program Facilitator for its Teen Outreach Programs (TOP) in Allegheny and Mercer, PA.

Adagio Health's services include family planning and reproductive healthcare, breast and cervical cancer screenings and early detection programs, access to nutritional food, healthcare referrals, education and breastfeeding support to new moms, prenatal care, and education on topics such as healthy relationships and substance abuse.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TOP PROGRAM- AFTERSCHOOL FACILITATOR

Program facilitators at Adagio Health work with a variety of community partners in Allegheny and Mercer counties to provide high quality facilitation of Social and Emotional Learning curriculums. Facilitators work independently or with a co-facilitator work in afterschool settings. A day might include: preparing to teach a lesson with a co-facilitator, working with the community partner to implement a service learning project with students, teaching at an afterschool program in person or online, or even working with the larger education team on department projects! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A TOP PROGRAM- AFTERSCHOOL FACILITATOR

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Two years of experience working with adolescents, high-risk populations a plus; previous experience with classroom facilitation required.
Experience and training in Social and Emotional Learning or similar curriculum and programming required.
Training in Health Education, Wyman Teen Outreach Program or community service-learning a plus, but not required.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ideal candidates are charismatic and possess a strong ability to work independently
Valid PA driver's license
Position headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA with frequent local travel primarily to Allegheny and Fayette County.
Must be flexible with work schedule, ability to work evenings and weekends.
