UX Product Designer Client: Walmart! MUST SIT IN Dallas, TX or Bentonville, AR ( HYBRID - 4 days REMOTE) MUST be USC or GC Holder Locations: • Dallas • Bentonville, AR These roles are in the HR Space. They will be working independently across every single HR application that Walmart Associates use on a daily basis. LITERALLY MILLIONS OF ASSOCIATES WILL BE USING THESE APPS!! MUST HAVE STRONG FIGMA EXPERIENCE!!! Team is currently: 20 UX designers Important that the candidate can articulate the thought process behind their design process? Any UI skills?? Someone who has "True UX" experience. • Working with UX Research, facilitating with other UX researchers. Responsive design experience will be KEY! Walmart facilitates UX people taking a user centric approach. Interview process: (ITS A QUICK ONE AND DONE) • 60 Min Video interview w Jessica and her Sr. Designer (s) (Present a case study. )At the end they'll get a chance to ask questions. • NO CAPSTONE CASE STUDIES!!!! Real life case studies in professional settings are best. A case study built from Scratch would be good. Blank State to deliverable. A lot of interview questions around their approach, processes. They need someone who will Challenge where needed, have a thought, have a vision, and is an individual. Not someone who just desgins things a certain way because they were told to. As a Product Designer, you will help transform complex workflows and information into easy-to-use experience design for our associates. You will need to think visually, using lean techniques like sketching and white boarding to communicate upfront design concepts. You will also use your knowledge of the Double Diamond Approach (discover, define, design, deliver) to collaborate and iterate on multiple solutions before delivering pixel-perfect designs. Preferred qualifications: • Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar. • Bachelor’s and 3-4 years of experience; OR Master’s and 2 years of experience; OR 5 years of experience • Have a fantastic portfolio of elegant design solutions. • Master of written and verbal communication.
