4.0 Boeing uses digital twins. Airbus employs AR for efficiency. Lockheed Martin and GE Aviation use 3D printing for F-35 parts and LEAP nozzles. Siemens’ smart factories use cobots and IoT. Rolls-Royce and Delta use predictive maintenance via IoT. Airbus’ ZEROe and Safran’s hybrid systems target decarbonization. Boeing and Northrop Grumman enhance supply chains with SAP and blockchain. NASA and Honeywell apply ML for design and safety. Airbus and Lockheed train workers in robotics and AI.

      Job Hunting in Tech

I’m a UI/UX designer with a background in economics and customer experience, currently exploring product systems that prioritize transparency and trust. My journey into design started with curiosity about how digital experiences influence decision-making — especially in emerging tech spaces. I’m particularly interested in building structured, user-centered systems that solve real problems rather than just look good. Looking forward to connecting and learning from other professionals here.

Working in erstwhile Dunn Solutions which has now merged with Kaar technologies Inc has been an incredibly enlightening experience. From starting as a simple PowerBI data analyst, I have had the opportunity to work on multiple technology stacks such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, FiveTran and more. I have also worked in AI as well, since the nature of consulting enables us to be hands on with all the latest technologies. Look forward to many more learning experiences.

If I am in a specialized practice area as a 4th year (EBEC/tax sort of specialties), do I have any shot at finding something that allows more remote flexibility? All these firms seem to be heading toward 4 day RTO, but I genuinely cannot stand going in especially if the commute is an hour plus (think LA/Bay Area sort of traffic). I wouldn't mind badging in a day or two if necessary, but it seems elusive to find something more flexible

Looking to transfer out of B4 but still stay in consulting or adjacent industry. Challenge is that I'm coming more from a tech implementation background. Mostly Cloud and technology in general. Led a lot of delivery work and strategy - i.e. roadmaps, business cases, op models etc. always with a cloud or tech lens. What midsized or boutiques would want my skillset

At what point does technological convenience become dependency? This is today’s question on Thinker, something I just built on the side while working at Deloitte. It gives you one deep question every morning to get you thinking and see how others answer too. If you’re into thought-provoking stuff or building your own thing, check it out 🔗 thinker-ftwt.com

Articulation and negotiation training I know both of these are very different but I think having done this for 20 years now, I could use a refresher. Do you recommend any companies for one-on-one training? Not looking for the basics at all, but rather fine tune what I’ve known for decades or maybe pick up a few new techniques and strategies - thanks
