Any one here work for a Credit Union. I took a job with a Credit Union a little over 2 months ago. I work in their IT department. One of my tasks (not mentioned in the Job interview or description) was essentally bombshelled on me is reloading the ATM with cash. This is an external ATM with lots of cash. An armored car and armed guard drops the cash off, and then I have to (unarmed) load it in to the machine. I work in a sketchy as hell neighborhood. Rated F on crime maps (continued)

      Interview Tips

      Barista
      2mo

Hi, I'm currently work as a barista. I'm bilingual in Vietnamese and English, and I've been searching for a chance to move further into banker role. I had a couple in-person interviews (final step) for some regional banks, but mostly could not land a job. I'm seeking for any tips or advice on which tasks I should focus on for any future teller job openings. For me its really hard to get into banking right now without experience, even though they say it's entry-level. Thanks for your comments

I am starting next week as a RBl first time working at Regions Bank. I need advice on making it count and having a great experience so i can build a career in this industry. I am very excited but also nervous because I have read a lot of negativities about working as a teller. Is it as bad as they say? I have handled all kinds of people in my opinion, starting from fast food, retail, furniture industries. As well as toxic environments. Any advice would help or about your experience, thank you!

Hi there! Located in Charlotte at a bank and starting to look for another role. Not in a rush if there is no sign-on bonus (will receive bonus in March). What is the audit environment like at Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Capital One, Ally, etc.?? Would love a cohesive team environment (team events) and solid work life balance. Iโ€™ve been without a bonus at my current company for two years now, so would love to be bonus eligible.

Just read on cnbc that at @jp Morgan: โ€œAI platform seen by any outsider, showed the program creating an investment banking deck in about 30 seconds, work that wouldโ€™ve previously taken a team of junior bankers hours to complete.โ€ And โ€œOne proposal being discussed at a major investment bank is reducing the ratio of junior bankers to senior managers from the current 6-1 to 4-1โ€. Sigh..

Employment at Diebold is a great opportunity for a career IF you work in the ATM space. My second choice would be Vault. There is still a high demand for vault techs due to combo changes, repair and safety deposit boxes. Drive-thru is slowing down and will eventually go away completely. If Diebold can survive the consultants they brought in, they will emerge a strong company.

2 offers in hand, which would you choose? A: Pre-Sales Engineer - 176 base / 250 OTE / 35 RSU annually. Mainly remote some hybrid work, but manages own schedule supporting a team of AEs. B: Account Executive: 170 base / 340 OTE + incentive accelerators once quota is attained. Work from home 100% but would commute to main customer regularly which is about a 1 hour drive.
