      Consulting

      Peter Alcorn
      10mo

4.0 Boeing uses digital twins. Airbus employs AR for efficiency. Lockheed Martin and GE Aviation use 3D printing for F-35 parts and LEAP nozzles. Siemens’ smart factories use cobots and IoT. Rolls-Royce and Delta use predictive maintenance via IoT. Airbus’ ZEROe and Safran’s hybrid systems target decarbonization. Boeing and Northrop Grumman enhance supply chains with SAP and blockchain. NASA and Honeywell apply ML for design and safety. Airbus and Lockheed train workers in robotics and AI.

      Confession

      Manager
      7mo

How do I work through a micro manager? It’s gotten to the point now where I lose sleep because of the nitpick, not listening, not actually reading the materials which leads to awkward comment responses “it’s there,” delays in review time, etc. Manager gets annoyed when I don’t include him on things or when folks reach out to me directly. Losing it. I’ve done the over sharing, timelines, pushed back, and nothing has worked. Only thing left is escalating but scared in this environment

Working in erstwhile Dunn Solutions which has now merged with Kaar technologies Inc has been an incredibly enlightening experience. From starting as a simple PowerBI data analyst, I have had the opportunity to work on multiple technology stacks such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, FiveTran and more. I have also worked in AI as well, since the nature of consulting enables us to be hands on with all the latest technologies. Look forward to many more learning experiences.

      10mo

I am enrolled for an associates degree in automation. I have currently 15 years of lab experience. After I graduate I plan on trying to pivot into biomedical equipment tech, ideal I would like to join Simeans, rouche, beckmann colter, or another laboratory instrument manufacturer. Which biomedical specialty is worth pursuing certification? Which specialization pays the most? Work life balance how is that? Also how is the market in Florida for this?
