Her example was high quality work being submitted consistently matters more than when you do the work. Do you have that kind if of working relationship with your leaders? An example this week on why I don’t feel I do: I work pacific hours at a central based organization. I’m not a morning person and would rather meetings be scheduled 8 am onwards. I was told I should be amenable.

Searching during economic uncertainty has brought an extra layer of pressure and it’s been mentally exhausting. I feel like I’m going to take a position out of fear rather than alignment but at this point I need any role. Do you recommend taking anything and continuing to apply for something better or will this come back to haunt me?

I’ve been halfway through interview loops where the role slowly shifted from what was originally posted. New responsibilities, different expectations, sometimes even a different team.
