I have a 4 yo who is obsessed with racing cars, my husband is also a huge fan of F1. We don't do screen time except occasional travel screen time (international flights) but lately I have noticed my son and husband watching F1 races (Grand Prix qualifiers) which are not too long but probably count as screen time. Sadly I would tell people to run from being Sales at Autodesk. First thing to understand is there are 3 parts of the business- Construction, manufacturing and media and entertainment. If you come here look at only construction or media and entertainment. The manufacturing side has tons of turnover, unrealistic expectations and all you can sell is software, The implementation comes from partners that you have zero control over. Ask good interview questions to see if you get the truth.

I have an offer from Proxima and Accenture (procurement practice). Which one to take? 3 YOE and Accenture providing 20% higher pay. Relatively same title. Proxima is growing quickly and work with Bain - so some positive exposure? Accenture has a larger team, more variety of projects, etc. But i've heard of their struggle to retain talent the last few years

I watched the F1 movie today. I liked it a lot. All of the main characters wear IWC watches, and Brad Pitt’s Ingenieur gets a lot of screen time. The only other watches I spotted were RM’s worn in a press conference by principals of other teams. I wonder if this movie will popularize the Ingenieur like Steve McQueen’s Monaco in Le Mans.
