Do you flood the market and click the “easy apply” button on every job posting that you are even similarly qualified for, or are you more selective and try to stand out? In the last 5 weeks, my friend has applied to over 200 jobs using easy apply. I’ve tried to take a different approach, modified my resume for each job, checked the ranking of the ATS scanner, only applied to the company’s website or through a recruiter. Not sure which is better, just two people trying their best at the new job.

For Deloitte people, I have Anthem PPO and tried calling Optum to enroll in Bright Beginnings their fertility support program. They said they don’t handle enrollments and redirected me to Anthem. Anthem said they don’t handle enrollments and first directed me back to Optum and then told me to talk to Deloitte benefits. Deloitte benefits gave me the same Optum number to call. HOW can I enroll? Hoping to start my IVF journey soon and need to enroll to get insurance benefits.

Venting again… stop having people apply on indeed and then telling them to apply again through your website. Learn to use the resources, indeed lets you link your application process so that when someone clicks apply, it sends them to your website to apply. It’s a REALLY easy platform. Along with that, it’s takes and extra 2 seconds to look at someone application on indeed and mark “not selected by employer”. Red flag if you can’t do a simple quick button press

Hello! I had the final interview with IQVIA and the following day I received an email via Workday asking me to complete the Government Official Screening. This task is shown as GO Gating: Initial Questionnaire (140/above). And I now have 2 active applications for the role I applied for in Workday. Does anyone know what this means? Is it sent to all candidates in the final round as an admin step that doesn't indicate anything? Thank you!

Anyone work for United Health Group/Optum Insight? There is a position open and after being laid off from my job in October Im wondering if this would land me back in the same spot. Plus they give no ideas on PTO. State all these other incentives but no mention of PTO. Anyone have Pros & Cons? I know each department is different. It would be for a Senior Data Entry Clerk. Any Insight would be great on the company as a whole.

Hi everyone, I have a question for those who have worked, or are still working, in the insurance world especially as Independent Adjusters. How did you get started, and who did you reach out to? I’ve had some training, but I don’t have real on the job experience yet. If you know of any companies that offer training programs or entry-level positions, I’d really appreciate it. I do have my adjusting license. Thanks in advance!

I’m on F1 finishing a STEM PhD right now, I just got an offer to work in a company in consulting after I graduate next year, does it make more sense to do the F1 STEM OPT or to switch straight to a work visa (E3, I’m Australian, no lottery needed). The other option is to try to pursue EB-2. The reason why I consider switching is because being in F1 for any longer than I need to in this climate seems risky.

I had applied for a position and the response was they “were are unable to meet your current compensation expectations for this position.“ . I’m was a little disappointed that there wasn’t some kind of negotoation? Being a Surg tech for 20 years I was actually excited to heard from this company. I guess putting $0 and then doing research and hopefully having a converstation may be the way to go…
