      Job Searching in Accounting

I've been in my current role for the last 4 years and I have an interview coming up at a new place but I'm currently going through a bit of a dilemma as I now have quite a few tattoos. My arms are pretty much covered in them, so is it recommended that I cover these up during an interview? I've stayed away from getting them on my hands so I could probably hide them quite easily but I'm just wondering whether I should hide them to come across as more 'professional' or to just leave them on show?

Hi all! I am following upper body/lower body split programme (2 days each, 4 in total) in my strength training, with focus on free weights. How to make sure that upper and lower body are balanced and proportionally developed? I do similar volume in terms of exercise numbers but wondered how do you know if lower body is actually not underdeveloped/not challenged sufficiently (i.e.,in terms of weight)? Many thanks

Ok so this is a damn shame. I had to recently turn down a couple of interviews because these particular jobs were work onsite jobs and they required me to lift and carry boxes that weigh 50 lbs and I hurt my left arm and shoulder at my last job, last year, to the point that I had to go to physical therapy for a few months. I had a frozen shoulder. (Continued on next post below)

      EAs / Executive Assistants

I worked in customer escalation team at a high-tech company. My boss asked me to set up a cross-team meeting, so I contacted all the EAs. One EA never responded to emails or calls, so I reached out to her exec directly. He shouted, “Do you know I have an EA?” I explained I had tried, but got no response. It was uncomfortable—how would you handle a situation like that?

It is Tired Thursday for me. On top of trying to find jobs, I am having to still deal with paperwork for my family, and help them. I normally would not mind but my arm is in a sling where I hurt it. What do you recommend to help deal with being tired during life or job search? Also do you have any funny stories that could cheer us all up job search related?

For Angel and other investors how did you get started and what was your approach? Want to start with minimum amount right now as I am getting back into workforce after a 2 years break. But want to build long term portfolio. What are the best options to invest in right now which doesn’t cost a leg and an arm?

So I’m taking a big leap and I decided to further my education by going back to school to get my Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in AI Software Engineering that I will further with Graphic Design afterwards. It’s a change for sure but an extremely exciting new path for me. I look forward to what happens next.

      Remote Truss Designer
      10mo

23 years of truss design and I am burnt out. I am so ready to get out of production design. I have applied to all of the design software companies but with not living full time in the US I get shut down. My current company is great. I need to find a position that will allow me to still be remote and use my skills.
