Looking for feedback from recruiters. Is it common to tell a candidate "I hope to have good news for you"? It feels like it could create false hope. Kind of like you say that then the candidate does not get the job, it's like, "Oh, sorry, no good news." I'm just overthinking and obsessing because I felt like the first part of my interview went awesome but the second part (with the person I would report to) did not go as well as I would've liked. Appreciate your thoughts!

Hi everyone, I interviewed a month ago with Accenture and got a contingent offer based on a new contract award. Last week, the recruiter reached out wanting me to start on a different contract. Over the phone, the recruiter confirmed the current contract is good until 04/2027. If the new contract is awarded, i will xfer. If not, i'll stay on until 04/2027 but when I ask for confirmation via e-mail, the recruiter calls me or avoids my question. Any advice?

i’m wrapping up my current engagement (thankfully – I haven’t enjoyed the work or the people at all). Tried to be proactive about my next one: reached out early, had actual interest, found a project that aligned with my past experience and im genuinely excited for and convo went well. Was told to ping the PL/EM who didn’t reply. Meanwhile, a completely different team “confirmed” me. Second time this has happened and I’m really frustrated. how does one actually get a say here?

Finished last round of interviews with a company. It went very well and I was told I should expect to hear next steps soon. Just got a call to confirm salary expectations (we’re aligned) and potential start date (also aligned). I was told things looked very positive and that I’d hear back again within the next day or so. At this stage, it’s safe to anticipate that an offer is pending, correct?

Hi all, I saw this community very late. Tomorrow (17.06.25) at 11:00 am I have an interview session with Director of Quality of a Pharma industry here in Holbaek, Denmark for the role of Quality Assurance Specialist. I need to know that what salay I should expect from the company. Keeping in mind that I have 6 years of experience in multinational company as a specialist.

I have a problem caused by quality assurance, well technically I omitted a sign in a change but now QA is dragging their feet on letting me fix it. They also are the ones who set the deadline (won’t extend it of course). So I’m sitting here after hours waiting on a signature to then go beg my client to sign quickly. Anyone else already running out of energy at work?

Have you ever gotten a glowing client review… and then nothing from leadership? One of my clients called me “the most proactive and reliable AM they’ve ever had,” and I passed it along to my boss and crickets. I just want a little acknowledgement without begging for validation around every corner.
