Recently started the Google PM Certification course and should be finished with it by Mid Dec. I'm currently a TL with a TPA and LOVE the company, but Im already doing PM work without the pay and I don't think they have any intention of giving me that opp. Not because I COULDN'T, but because they are already short staffed as it is. I'm hoping to get into a starting position in Project Management. I specialize in Self Funded Employer Plans, Carve Outs, etc. Where would a good place to start be?

      Scientific Project Manager

I just received my PMP certification! Any advice on 1) new roles or employers that I should target 2) negotiating salary and promotion in current role? My current role didn’t require PMP. Experience: life science research in molecular biology (10 years in academia), program management in global health (3 years in non-profit), currently scientific project manager in clinical research (1+ years at research institute). Exploring possibilities and excited for what’s next!

Hi all! I have 15 years of facilities management experience in middle management and will earn my BS in Business Management soon. I plan to pursue PMP and IFMA certifications but want to continue with a master’s degree. I’m considering Construction Management, Facilities Management, or Project Management. Which master’s program offers the best career prospects and cost-benefit ratio? Are there any other master programs you recommend?

      Law

      Paralegal
      1y

So, I just graduated with an LLM preparing for the bar. I have no idea what area of law I want to practice. I have been a paralegal for a decade now and I’ve worked in BK, civil rights, family law appellate practice, and now contracts. I’m interested in IP, corporate governance/compliance, contracts, and securities regulation. Did some IP and securities courses during my LLM but no hands-on experience. Any advice?

Is an LLM from a school other than NYU or Georgetown worthwhile if it’s free? Thanks to veterans’ benefits, I have the option to do a part-time LLM with free tuition from an average ranked state law school. Is it worth my time and energy to pursue this degree? If so, is tax the only valuable concentration or would one with a focus on, for example, corporate governance be worthwhile? Thanks for the advice!

I'm an HR Manager at a Bay Area startup, earning ~$140K with 8 years of experience. Looking to switch careers or boost my resume with certifications. I already have a PHR certification. Considering PM or CPP—has anyone transitioned to PM? What role are you in now? For CPP, does it add value or help with salary growth? Open to other certification or career advice. Would love to hear insights!

I am considering a career redirection. I am currently a lab scientist and with the current volatility of the job market, I have been considering other options. One is getting my CAPM Certification to pursue a PMP Certification in the future. Those of you who have made this career shift or something similar, what did you do and how has it worked out?

I recently received and accepted an offer from Infosys BPM, Mangaluru and noticed you’ve worked there. I’m currently with Allianz, so just wanted to quickly understand how the experience is at Infosys BPM and how it compares overall. I would really appreciate your honest thoughts. Should I take it up or not? Thank you 🙂

Hi folks! I have signed an offer for a NetSuite Admin/Manager (pay is good) for a company in the SaaS domain, meanwhile i have been interviewing with BPM Caravel (Senior Consultant - SRP focused) and think i might land the offer. Comtemplating if i should go with BPM instead - any thoughts about Caravel's NetSuite practice?
