Hi all — quick question for the group. I'm working with a fast-growing life sciences manufacturing company in the regenerative medicine (tissue grafting space), and we're looking to bring in a top-tier accounting firm that really understands biotech manufacturing. Specifically, we need deep experience with inventory and WIP costing, COGS, cash-to-accrual transition, etc. If you've worked with or know of firms that are truly strong in this niche (national or boutique)... Thank you very much.

I have 15 years of experience in a laboratory setting. I am in school for an associates degree in automation. I want to break into the biomed industry/field either working on instruments lab or imaging. Does anyone work as a bio med tech with non biotech degree? What are my chances of using my new automation degree along with my experience in the lab to snag a spot in Siemens, rouche, beckmen colter? Is it worth getting the BMET certification? Does Bio med tech pay well in FLORIDA?

Hi everyone, I’m trying to break into the biotech/pharma industry without a degree or direct science experience. I bring transferable skills from previous roles and have upskilled with qualifications in GCP, GLP, Biology, and Project Management. I’ve found it challenging to get support as an entry-level candidate, as most recruiters/companies focus on senior roles. If you know anyone I could reach out to for guidance or opportunities, I’d really appreciate it! *Please see my interests ⬇️*

Still on the job market since March, but keeping busy and growing. During this time, I earned my Certification in Public Health (CPH) and advanced my Lean Six Sigma certification to Green Belt (LSSGB). If you know of any opportunities in health tech or Bio-Pharm, please feel free to reach out. A sincere thank you to everyone who has already shared leads or extended support! Please refrain from soliciting resume writing services and recruiting services with added cost.

I’m an MLS working in clinical chemistry at a central lab in a biotech hub. I am looking to get into quality assurance/regulatory affairs for pharma/medical devices/contract research orgs. I’m new to the industry and would appreciate some insight. How easy is it to jump between pharma/medical devices/ CRO? If I grow my career in pharma for example, will I have to start over if I want to go to medical devices? Does experience validating analyzers and doing CAP inspections help my resume?

I am enrolled for an associates degree in automation. I have currently 15 years of lab experience. After I graduate I plan on trying to pivot into biomedical equipment tech, ideal I would like to join Simeans, rouche, beckmann colter, or another laboratory instrument manufacturer. Which biomedical specialty is worth pursuing certification? Which specialization pays the most? Work life balance how is that? Also how is the market in Florida for this?

It's been 2 months since I've had my bioworks Process Technician Certificate and I have applied for so many jobs for the Pharmaceutical field that says you need a bioworks certificate. But I've been rejected so many times. Must of them want you to have Pharmaceutical experience already. I had no idea it would be this hard to get a job in the Pharmaceutical field. Have anyone that has an bioworks certificate been going through the same thing as I am?
