Hi all — quick question for the group. I'm working with a fast-growing life sciences manufacturing company in the regenerative medicine (tissue grafting space), and we're looking to bring in a top-tier accounting firm that really understands biotech manufacturing. Specifically, we need deep experience with inventory and WIP costing, COGS, cash-to-accrual transition, etc. If you've worked with or know of firms that are truly strong in this niche (national or boutique)... Thank you very much.

Hi everyone, I’m trying to break into the biotech/pharma industry without a degree or direct science experience. I bring transferable skills from previous roles and have upskilled with qualifications in GCP, GLP, Biology, and Project Management. I’ve found it challenging to get support as an entry-level candidate, as most recruiters/companies focus on senior roles. If you know anyone I could reach out to for guidance or opportunities, I’d really appreciate it! *Please see my interests ⬇️*

I have 15 years of experience in a laboratory setting. I am in school for an associates degree in automation. I want to break into the biomed industry/field either working on instruments lab or imaging. Does anyone work as a bio med tech with non biotech degree? What are my chances of using my new automation degree along with my experience in the lab to snag a spot in Siemens, rouche, beckmen colter? Is it worth getting the BMET certification? Does Bio med tech pay well in FLORIDA?

      Patent Prosecution

      Associate (patent Attorney)

It seems like the biotech field is in a slump right now for entry-level life sciences patent prosecution. Even with my JD and M.S. in biochemistry (both received in 2025), every firm seems to want at least 2+ years of life sciences prosecution experience. My best shot these days seems to be becoming an examiner at the patent office, but I've heard horror stories from there as well. Any advise for a job-seeking freshly-minted patent attorney in this market?

What if your medicine was alive? 👀🧬 That’s the power of cell therapy: using living cells to treat disease, repair damage, and regenerate tissue. From CAR-T cells that fight cancer to iPSCs that can become almost any cell type, this field is reshaping the future of healthcare. And it’s not just theory, we’re doing this in the lab right now 🧫💥 Whether you’re new to biotech or deep in the science, this is one area you’ll want to keep an eye on 👀💡

Did you put a cap on how many embryos to get biopsies and sent out for genetic testing? I told the embryologist lab no cap but I’m wondering if I made the right decision. We currently have 14 embryos and tomorrow it can go up to 16. Financially I can afford it thanks to my employer but I’m feeling uneasy about the decision we only want to have 3 kids maybe 4
