Counsel at a pubco- I think at my job title, it's pretty unusual I am not receiving equity. Hindsignt, I would have pressed this harder when I joined.I am expecting to have a stellar performance review this year (boss and CLO have essentially said as much). Has anyone tried negotiating an equity grant or inclusion in the equity plan going forward? I like my job a lot and I think the company stock is actually fairly cheap, too. Best ways to approach this? I do have goodwill with the team, etc.
