The annual salary hikes range from 10% to 25%, and I generally feel comfortable, although I do have to report to a not-so-great manager. Recently, I received an offer from CGI, a service company, with a 100% salary increase. What choice would you make? Is it a good time to switch? Is it a good company? Is CFGI a good place to work? I got an offer but the base is 5k lower than my current. They try to advertise the OT bonus and share incentive scheme. I don’t really buy in these. The share incentives are only realised under IPO or strategic sales. Also does anyone feel struggling with the remote setting? I want some connection with my colleagues.

Hi I have worked as a graphic designer and a 3D generalist since 2017-2023. I graduated in 2023 with a Bachelors in Computer Science and took a job in that field. I am tired of coding and want to get back into VFX and CGI but with an actual job this time. How should I go about it? Any and all advice will be appreciated!
