      Interview Tips

      Cloud Solution Architect

I applied for a CSA role at Microsoft. Later after the tech interview, I saw the job title moved from CSA to Senior CSA. The JD still has CSA in it. When asked the recruiter, they explained they hire for several levels. Experience, knowledge and skills are assessed during the deep dive and other interviews, but job role, interview level, and salary range would be for the CSA, not for a Senior position. Has this happened to anyone before? I'm a bit worried about this being a curve ball.

Considering a VA loan? 🏡 It's important to understand the VA loan house inspection requirements before finalizing your home purchase. Unlike traditional inspections, the VA appraisal focuses on ensuring the property meets the Minimum Property Requirements (MPRs) for safety and livability. From checking the roof and plumbing to ensuring no health hazards, this process protects veterans from costly surprises. https://dreamhomemortgage.com/the-va-loan-step-by-step-process/ #VALoan #MortgageTips #Veterans

On Wednesday, a contract I was working on ended which the communication was very little and thanks to a colleague I found out 3/4 through the 3.5-4-month contract that we were earning sick time and the agency had listed the need for COVID vaccine verification (after I called them out on it they admitted to needing to update the listing). I have had both good and bad experiences with agencies over the years although just need to be careful with the agency you are working with.

I'm going to have a take-home assessment in a couple of days and I want to prepare because the impostor syndrome is real with me. Do you know of websites where I can practice with code exercises that are similar to this take-home test. I'm applying for a Senior Back End Developer and I think that the test will be about C#/.NET because that was one of the qualifications that appeared on the job description.

Has anyone reccently done NIPT testing with Cigna? They told me it will be fully covered if it’s a “medical necessity” but then wouldn’t define what criteria that is. I’ve heard of people having issues with it being covered if you’re not high risk (over 35, something abnormal on a scan, etc.). Does anyone have any insight to how strictly Cigna defines “medical necessity” in practice?

Should I worry that agencies will actually use the ideas and campaigns I submitted for my competency tests? I made it to round 3 with two agencies, both of which asked me to do a test where I had to come up with campaigns, etc., for different brands. After the test, it's either been radio silence or straight rejection. Is there a policy against my work being used?

I applied for a consulting job at Bain & Company and received an online assessment via TestGorilla. Can anyone give me some insights? Is it hard? What types of questions should I be expecting? I am guessing it is like the GMAT but I’ve never taken it and the last time I took the SAT and GRE was over 15 years ago đŸ˜©

A New Jersey question: Any ideas on how long it takes for the next step after CASAS testing in NJ? I took the test(s) 5 days ago and haven't heard anything else. At least the scores were visible at completion. My benefits clock is running out and the stress from this nonsense has already taken its toll.

I am starting a position at an Insurance company global investment fund. I am wondering if they can test me for thc in nyc or not as I am coming from out of state. Nothing to worry about just don’t know how everything works and it seems to be extremely unclear. Am clean but just want to know.
