      Salaries in Insurance

SLC, UT — Commercial Lines Account Manager with 5 years’ experience (often mistaken for 10+). I manage ~200 accounts spanning Small Business, Mid-Market, and flagship clients, with multiple complex lines. My book is approximately $2.6M in premium. CISR-designated, with plans to pursue CIC and CRM. I recently asked for $80K (currently at $63K and feeling under-market). Curious what others in our area are earning and how that aligns with years in the role, designations, and scope of responsibility

Looking for advice please . I’m currently at a a senior planner at holdco in Canada eyeing a media Manager promo very soon. I have a business degree from back home, but 0 name recognition here. I’m relatively new to Canada, I’m considering a part-time MBA to build a network and eventually pivot client-side. Program is top 10 in Canada and only costs $10k, so it would have great ROI Is the local credential and network worth the grind, or the industry only cares about agency experience? Thanks

Hi all! I’m a consultant with nearly five years of customer-facing experience, including acting as a CSM for clients immediately after go-live during major CRM implementations. That exposure to long-term relationship management, adoption, and post-launch success made me realize Customer Success is where I thrive. I’m currently exploring CS opportunities and am especially interested in a role at DoorDash. If anyone is open to sharing insights or providing a referral, I’d truly appreciate it.

Hi all, I'm currently a Senior Con in the TC Platforms Team. I was recently on a short BC stint where I was helping one of the Managers on a Business Case, and it was GENUINELY a great experience. There was lots of mind stimulating work and I was busy all day, and there was much to learn; how businesses organise themselves and how this specific industry works. All in all 9/10. And Manager was great too. REALLY nice. Now, I'm just wondering if there is anyway I can try to move from TC to BC?

      Tech Sales

I know this is a tech sales sub, but figured I’d ask as CS is sales-adjacent. Thoughts on the Customer Success Manager role in general going into 2026? Been in management consulting for several years, and am now looking to get into either a solutions engineer or customer success manager role. Noticing a ton of CSM openings at various companies. Have any of you gone from a sales role int a CSM role? Are you enjoying it? Why or why not? What’s the day-day stress/pressure like compared to sales?

Career Planning Question - Just started a Director level role at a F100 healthcare company. I want to get to PE PortCo C-Suite (CDO, CTO, CCO, CIO, or COO) as an end goal. My goal is to jump either internally or externally to VP within the next two years or so, and jump from there. I am building out the department/function 10 direct reports so far, own P&L for Cloud FinOps/AI services, and have exposure to C-Suite. What do I need to begin doing to build towards VP/C-Suite.
