      Jobs in Marketing

      works at Shopify pro
      3mo

I’ve been reviewing a number of Shopify dropshipping stores lately and noticed a common pattern — many stores are getting traffic but not converting into real sales. I focus on identifying hidden issues that affect trust, product positioning, and the buying decision process. If you run a Shopify dropshipping store and results haven’t matched your effort, I’d be glad to exchange ideas and look at what might be limiting performance. This isn’t a promotion — just looking to connect with people

      Insurance

      8mo

I’m looking at switching from working for PGR corporation to an Allstate agency. I’ve been in the insurance industry a few years & have my p&c license plus strong in sales. Switching to commission and no benefits makes me very nervous, but I recognize the opportunity for growth. Can anyone advise on what “good” commission structures are? My current position & the one I’m considering are both fully remote. Wanting to switch due to scheduling & aiming to get away from call-center environment.

      Ask A Recruiter - Sales

      Assistant Manager
      1mo

I work in a management heavy role at a rental car company where I oversee teams of 8-15 people and I train and develop on sales and best practices for customer service, handle customer complaints in a fast paced, high volume environment, work with cross functional teams to ensure transparency and operational efficiency, and assist in organizing and utilizing a fleet of over 5,000 vehicles where we handle thousands of transactions per day. How can I transition to a BDR or CSM role that pays ~85k?

      Lead Diesel Technician
      6mo

I work as a lead tech in a fleet shop. The company now has a job posting at my location for a regular tech with a salary that is 2 cents less than what I am making now as the lead tech. We started up a location that is about 3 hours away that my manager is now over leaving me to manage multiple fleets when he is gone to that location. There is only one fleet at the other location and I found out that the regular tech there is making $5 an hour more than me. How should I bring this up?

Currently a Shipping Manager at BRE, where I oversee logistics, orders, and quality control. This role has strengthened my leadership, organization, and communication skills. While operations gave me structure, I’m eager to transition into commission-based sales. I thrive on building relationships, solving problems, and being rewarded for results. Fluent in English, Russian, and Ukrainian, I’m motivated, adaptable, and ready to hustle in a performance-driven sales environment.

💸 Tax season should never catch you off guard. Yet many managers still scramble, draining cash flow and credibility. The solution is simple: ✅ Automate tax categorization, ✅ Set aside a % of rents monthly, ✅ Review quarterly. This is financial discipline, not optional. 👉 If you’re not doing this yet, it’s time to start — your business depends on it.👉 Are you preparing like a pro, or waiting for the “surprise” bill? #TaxPlanning #CashFlowManagement #PropertyManagement

      FIRE Financial Independence Retire Early

      Senior Counsel
      5mo

Biglaw lawyers: Can you tell me about your transition to FIRE? I’m 42 and think I’m close to a number I’m comfortable with. About 3.5% SWR and I am willing to flex and take some risk as my kid is in lower elementary and I don’t want to miss much more of their childhood. But also scared to leave the job completely. Did anyone make more a coast type transition? Anything I can do as a litigator that is very part time and without the mental monopoly of Biglaw work?

      Environmental law

      Associate
      9mo

What kind of jobs do folks in this group have? What kind of companies, organizations, and law firms (with as much specificity as you’d like)? I do environmental work in big law (mostly project siting and related litigation, but also some deal work). I am looking to pivot. I am interested in doing regulatory compliance for a company or some sort of environmental consulting group, but I’m also curious to see what else is out there. Thank you!

      Gas Station Attendant
      11mo

Hello, I’m currently looking for a position as a gas station manager in or around the San Bernardino area. I have experience working in gas stations and I’m familiar with all operational procedures. Ideally, I’m looking to manage a station that does not sell alcohol, but I’m open to discussing any available opportunities. If you know of any openings or owners looking for a reliable manager, I’d appreciate your help Thank you!

      Salary Negotiations

      Flagger/Traffic Control
      3mo

I've been in traffic control for 11 seasons with 3 separate companies. But it's always been "seasonal". No raises. No end of year increase. No bonus. The company I'm with now, 3 seasons, started me off @ $23 am hour. I need better money and less travel! (I'm laid off because ALL WORK IS 3 HOURS DRIVE. Company only has line work and it's all up north.) Besides the obvious, what can I do?
