I would like to start investing in crypto (probably just Bitcoin) on a monthly basis as part of my portfolio. Think $500 a month. Best exchanges to do so? I’ve been waiting for some time for Schwab to open their ability to do so, but done waiting (think latest I heard was spring 2026) thoughts? Any upside to using sites that allow you to actually own the crypto versus derivatives of the crypto? Sorry if that doesn’t make sense, obviously new to the game.

Fun fact: The most valuable crypto company in the world was started by a guy whose only previous tech or finance experience was running a for profit World of Warcraft in-game gold mining operation. Brock Pierce, the founder of Tether, ran a for-profit World of Warcraft in-game gold mining operation before starting Realcoin, the precursor to Tether. Tether, the company, is now worth $500B, makes $20B/year in profit with 200 employees and $186B in USDT has been minted so far.

Started in Web2 building backends with PHP/Python, dashboards with JavaScript, and managing SQL databases. Then i wondered what crypto was about and how fast payments were compared to banks, I am gradually transitioning into Web3 space. I have so far Built flash loan bots, a PvP NFT chess game (UTOPOS), and did a freelance Web3 scraper job. Now expanding my Web3 knowledge and looking to join teams or take on more gigs. #Web3 #Blockchain #DeFi #NFTs #TechTransition

Got laid off in July '23 because my performance was poor. Yes, I was a salesperson on paper, I didn't close a single deal. Was tasked for an easier product, I didn't fulfil it. That doesn't matter here. Started crypto trading as a FT, however, felt should get a job. As you know it is affected by numerous decisions. Thinking to shift to apply as project coordinator because it involves hands and mind to work, I like dealing and analysis. Need your advice.

I'm not from a fancy university. Never had a job. Just curiosity, Kali Linux, and a second-hand laptop. I applied for a cybersecurity internship at Hack The Box. Got rejected, but built a lab on Parrot OS, practiced with Metasploit, Evilginx2, Wireshark, Nmap, ran phishing simulations, and automated OSINT. You don’t need a job to be a hacker—just proof, hunger, and discipline. I’ll be back—stronger, sharper, and self-made. 💻⚡ #Cybersecurity #selftought

Is it me or has crypto been insanely manipulated? Been in this since 2017 and the last 6 months has been like a roulette table where everyday the wheel keeps spinning red. I’m sure there’s anti crypto folks but with institutions and companies acquiring. The sell off seems odd at this extreme when you see metals ripping, manufactures report, 3 rate cuts, etc

Is it just me or is crypto starting to wake up again? I've been helping a few people get into some solid projects mostly long term plays, nothing too risky. if anyone's been thinking about getting in or just wants to talk strategy, I'm happy to share what I've been doing. this run feels little different from the last.

I used to be worried about crypto seriously shaking things up in our industry but after this latest crash it seems like it is all but dead. Does anyone have a different perspective? I hold a little bit of crypto for fun and I'm not selling but I guess watching it go to 0 wouldn't be super fun either...

What are people actually using crypto for right now besides trading and staking? I remember when everyone was saying we'd be buying coffee with ETH by now. Feels like we're still mostly just buying and flipping coins. Has anything changed?

Are there any courses or other resources you’ve used to learn how to day trade crypto? I used to do this a bit on normal equities and curious on how to get educated on indicators for crypto.
