      Accenture Strategy & Consulting

Genuinely, it’s so deeply painful to spend so much time as L6 and above hunting for codes to cover administrative activity like conference planning, conference budget, SME involvement etc. The lack of an admin code discourages creative thinking on engaging with clients, flying in person to build relationships outside of paid project. What are some suggestions to tackle this? This seems uniquely an Accenture problem vs other consulting companies that offer internal codes that are accessible.

Hi! I currently work as an Eligibility Specialist, but there’s a lot of RCM/Billing work within my job. I’m not just verifying/updating insurance info, doing prior auth’s, etc. It’s much to type, but I love what I do. I am looking to expand my knowledge and heavily considering getting my coding license, however after a-lot of research, it seems’s like it’s an extremely saturated field and extremely hard to obtain a job, plus AI taking over. Any coders out there still encourage this move?

Working at 2 AM building compliance frameworks. Not because I have to. Because I finally found something that doesn't feel like work. After years of gig hopping (Outlier, Telus, content mills), I realized burnout wasn't from working too much - it was from working on things that didn't matter. Now I'm building tools for crypto compliance. Still working late. Not burned out anymore. The difference? Purpose! Silently building a strong foundation!

I am curious if anyone really codes from scratch nowadays. With Python, I still have to use chatGPT to get the basic code/framework and then customize it later. I just saw a job description where the hiring firm only wants strong Python coders who does not rely on chatGPT. If you are that person, I would love to know more about your background and how you became so good at it :)

Spent 3 months at FNB App Academy, gaining hands-on experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, Python, and Django. Learned that software development is more than coding; it’s about solving problems, creating strategies, understanding business needs, and delivering real projects. This program confirmed my transition into IT support and long-term goal of becoming a software developer.

You heard it here first: On July 30, we’re revealing a promo code to every single teacher with an approved project for basic supplies. Think notebooks, tissues, glue sticks, scissors — all the everyday items students need (and that somehow vanish way too fast!) Submit your project for basic supplies today and unlock your promo code for doubled donations on July 30.

Is CFGI a good place to work? I got an offer but the base is 5k lower than my current. They try to advertise the OT bonus and share incentive scheme. I don’t really buy in these. The share incentives are only realised under IPO or strategic sales. Also does anyone feel struggling with the remote setting? I want some connection with my colleagues.

Is it just me, or has entry-level become code for you must have five years of experience and a Master’s degree for $45k a year? I looked at a Junior Analyst posting today that required proficiency in three coding languages and a specialized certification that costs two grand to obtain. Is the entire market just a wish list for unicorns?

Hi I have worked as a graphic designer and a 3D generalist since 2017-2023. I graduated in 2023 with a Bachelors in Computer Science and took a job in that field. I am tired of coding and want to get back into VFX and CGI but with an actual job this time. How should I go about it? Any and all advice will be appreciated!

Do you think that it's worth learning to code even it you don't plan on using it specifically for a career that revolves around it? Will it be worth improving in this area and mentioning it on your resume as a general skill? I've heard a lot of people talk about how everyone should learn to code
