Hi everyone, I have a technical round coming up at Capgemini for an Android Software Engineer role. I know there’s a coding test, but I’m not sure what kind of questions to expect. If anyone has recently been through the process, could you please help with: What type of coding problems are asked? (e.g., arrays, strings, OOP, real-life Android problems?) Are they DSA-style or Android-specific coding tasks? Any focus on Kotlin/Java syntax, coroutines, or Android APIs?

Working on a short project designing and developing a CNC Router/Milling Machine to do automotive wheel rims repair. Designed the mechanical hardware using extruded aluminum, worm gears and stepper motors. That was it for the actual machine hard part. Then developed the electronics proof of concept using Arduino and 4 stepper motor drivers for a 3 axis CNC Mill/Router. After wards, I continued to developing the PCB for a final commercial product.

I think 8yrs i think i have been pretending to to a software developer and I was laid off during mass layoff while on parental leave , Be throwing resumes here and there but now I have a php code challenge in 4 days but that’s when I realized I can’t code, I can’t do a simple leet php code to even pass a code challenge, I can’t remember anything I practiced yesterday , I don’t think I will ever get a job again.

I’ve built Martingale XAUUSD bots, ICT indicators, and scalping tools. Open to remote or freelance roles in trading automation!

I am curious if anyone really codes from scratch nowadays. With Python, I still have to use chatGPT to get the basic code/framework and then customize it later. I just saw a job description where the hiring firm only wants strong Python coders who does not rely on chatGPT. If you are that person, I would love to know more about your background and how you became so good at it :)
