It looks like its time to find another Psychiatric Nurse to go to for medication mgmt. I told the nurse I was scheduled to meet with last Monday that i had a mandatory last minute work meeting to attend thst conflicted w/the time we were supposed to meet &asked if I could reschedule, & she said "okay." I looked online at my bank acct today, & saw that she charged me $75 for a missed appt. Wow, can she just make a 1 time exception & remove that petty fee? Looks like I need a different provider😒

Hi all! I’m seeing a lot of misinformation and frustration about Contango here. The reality is that we’re a company just three years old, still building our foundations and improving our operating model. Despite that, we’re likely one of the fastest-growing firms right now, and we’re actively looking for great talent. I’m always open to constructive feedback that can help us improve Contango and how we operate. Feel free to share your thoughts here or send me a DM.

      Salary Negotiations

      Operations Supervisor
      9mo

I took this role in October 2024 with a promise of a pay rise based on meeting two conditions by Feb 2025, which I easily met. When I reminded my manager for pay discussions in March 2025, she added another 3 conditions to my pay rise and gave me a deadline for July 2025. I have met these conditions as well now but the manager has come back saying that the pay was conditional and not confirmed. I feel like I should push back, but not sure if that will be the right move. Any advise from Pandits.

I let my job know a head of time that I’ll be late tomorrow. I will be coming all the way from my son’s school who will be starting preschool tomorrow which is first day. It is forty minutes away from my house. I have to go drop his medication off and see his class for a few minutes. I just found out today before work that he is starting tomorrow and I have to be at his school. It takes forty minutes to get there and to come back. They said not to be late because of a CPR meeting. PART 2 below:

Second year here with high hours (on track for 2,300+) but since July I have not been added onto any deals and been busy with just pre-existing ongoing work thats generating a lot of hours. Been talking to my superviser for more work and they keep saying they will keep it in mind and more work is on the way but never commit to adding me and have started giving work to an associate a year above me who they used to never give work to. Is this an early warning sign I need to lateral?

Hi (to be) parents! I am confused with vaccine schedule. Our 15mth old should receive his 15mth vaccination which should be 4th dose dtap and hib based on cdc. However, as he received pentacel (combination of dtap, hib and polio) for his first 3doses, dr said its best to give him pentacel for 4th dose as well to keep it same. But thats contining polio (which 4th dose should be recived from 4-6 years old)
. I feel like i am informed enough and not using information properly.. continuing in commen

I’m just so tired of applying for jobs. I was just filling out an application but it has several essay questions like this and I just don’t have the energy. It is Monday morning. You have 3 urgent tasks: (1) A client is asking for a status update that was due Friday. (2) The Project Manager needs you to reschedule a client facing meeting that is scheduled to start in 2 hours. (3) You need to finish a report that is due by the end of the day. In what order do you handle these, and why?

      Jobs in STEM

      Professional Research Assistant
      9mo

I’m an ultrasonographer in a research lab ready to leave due too poor/indifferent leadership and stagnant pay. I have been in the position +6yrs and am considered vital to my lab/collaborators using my services. I do not feel beholden to give my boss more than 2wks notice, but for collaborators that book me weeks/months in advance I’m conflicted. Should I give them prior warning or combine notices together? I’m a people pleaser and don’t want to upset the people that actually see my value.

Nextron Security Guard RW: °Worked ~10 days, no contract or insurance, possibly "black work." °Salary promised early July, delayed to today, still unpaid. Employer cites "payroll issues" but ignored me for days. Had to borrow money due to this. ° Kept a vest by mistake—proof of chaos. ° Termination was sudden, no notice. Taking this to authorities. Caution: verify terms. Advice to Management: Pay on time, provide contracts. Pros: None. Cons: Unpaid wages, no contract, poor communication.
