My VA is very bad and I am looking for recommendations. I have had a pain in my chest, rib, and back that won't go away. I spent all day as a walk in and got an abnormal EKG then was referred to get a stress test. It took 2 months to get that test and the pressure has been palpable most days. It showed up as clear, no blockages. Primary said maybe its muscular or GERD (I have been on PPIs in the past) but they're out of ideas. I just have to live with it or google & pitch treatment options?

The training at Conifer is extremely poor. By the third day, I was expected to work independently with very little preparation. When questions or issues arose, the only option was to message a designated support person who often took 20 minutes or more to respond and made me feel like an inconvenience for asking questions. The lack of structured training and timely support creates a frustrating environment and sets new hires up to fail rather than succeed.

Reading another poster who mentioned niche practices got me thinking—could this be the future? For young families with few health concerns and high-deductible plans, it might work well. If providers charged less than insurance rates under the deductible, families could save money. Many never meet their deductible anyway, so this model might offer more affordable and personalized care in the long run. What do you think?

Last month alone I had 42 calls from patients furious about their copays, like I personally decided the amounts. One woman screamed for ten straight minutes because her deductible reset in January. I get that people are stressed, but it’s draining to be the face of costs none of us control. How do you stay patient and professional when you’re getting blamed for an insurance system you didn’t create?

I’m thinking about offing myself daily and am trying to go through the process of going on short term leave from work to get treatment/therapy and allow my nervous system to heal/focus on my health. Im trying to get a diagnosis via virtual consultations with a doctor and they just prescribe medication but are unwilling to provide assistance with documentation for a leave ((contd)

After going remote, my company gave us $500 for a WFH setup. I bought a great chair and foot rest. I also got a smart water bottle because I quickly noticed that I don’t need a reason to get up anymore and my water drinking depleted. The water bottle reminds me to drink water. What’s one item in your home setup you can’t live without?

      On-site Physical Therapist

Does anyone know an effective way to work in the medical supply industry as a physical therapist? I am tired of patient care and want to find a way to do something else in the industry. I think that rewriting the resume to focus on transferable skills is the first step. What other actions will make this process most effective. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!
