      Job Hunting in Tech

      SR. Full Stack .NET Developer
      7mo

9 years ago, I wrote my first C# “Hello World.” Fast forward to today: I’ve built APIs, fixed 1000+ bugs (and caused 999 😅), survived production deploys on Fridays, and learned that Stack Overflow is basically family. Now… I’m open to work looking for my next adventure as a .NET Developer who still gets excited when code runs on the first try (rare, but magical 🪄). If your team needs someone who writes clean code, loves bad debugging jokes, and ships features with a smile. let’s connect!

      Career Pivot

      Multimedia Designer
      5mo

Hello everyone, I'm currently studying Comptia A+. I'm really enjoying it. I'm on Core 2 - in hopes to land an I.T role, preferably Help Desk support, to start off. I am a Multimedia Designer, 6+ experience, transitioning into I.T. I know it's a bit of a stretch but, any advice on how I can land a role, Help Desk support, whilst I'm studying and with no certificate yet. Thanks.

      Consulting

      Senior Manager
      9mo

Layoffs are terribly sad. Please DM me if you are interested in working on an AI start up and getting paid for all your work. No fat cuts for “partnership pyramid” - your hard work translated to your comp. Looking for 1 backend engineer who knows code deployment and architecture. Looking for subject matter experts who can talk to clients and provide advice to them.

Hello I am a PTA with 9 years experience and I was offered 26.50 (55,000) an hour in Farmington Maine. this is less than I made as a new grad. They would not budge despite discussion on current cost of living, etc. I am looking for some intel on other PTAs in the system in order to go to HR and my supervisor with some numbers for a raise. Thanks in advance!

      Strategy & Planning

      Planning Director
      9mo

Everybody keeps talking about “further integrating AI into our work” cue the WPP town hall that happened. As a strategist to me it is just a good springboard, it helps me finding proof points and wordsmithing. Am I missing anything? It just saves me time when writing or finding a proof point

Please share any intel on Massumi & Consoli, e.g., culture, work life balance and compensation, etc. Sitting on the fence because it was founded by two ex K&E partners and it seemed to have a history of laying off people when things were slow (based on a few old posts on FB).

Looking for intel on mat leave coverage offered across the industry… At Sid Lee there is a reduced workload the first month back from your leave - 4 days a week required for billable hours submitted vs 5 days but that’s it - no top up coverage.
