How is it out there right now for Creative Directors (Copy)? Is it crazy for an Account Person to want to shift into Creative? Sometimes I want to pursue copywriting as I have some writing background, but I'm afraid of the burnout and the impacts of AI (I've worked at some places already that insist on layoffs and creating AI slop and it's worrisome to say the least, for our entire field). I also didn't go to "ad school" but feel I have a lot to contribute creatively! So, is it cool being a CD??
