Hello everyone, I am a recent graduate with a bachelor's in cybersecurity. I have been looking for a job before and after graduation. I've had a couple of interviews for IT helpdesk and a junior cyber analyst, but NO ONE is calling back. At this point, I just need a job that will get me out of the house because I am going crazy. If you know of any companies hiring for IT helpdesk, jr system admin, jr cyber analyst, pls comment their names below. remote positions welcome as well.

The IT is full of people who have no idea how people do the tech. Except of some companies, I am frustrated that 8 out of 10 people who interviewed me had no idea about what cybersecurity is, what we actually do, what does the job require and how to do the interviews. As a cybersecurity engineer, I genuinely believe that some companies deserve to get hacked because of having those people without any idea about the job itself and taking decisions, affecting career and life of others.

Currently looking at making a career change into the field of technology, specifically cybersecurity. I have a background in design and currently work as a receptionist while I figure out where to go next, I'm looking at doing an apprenticeship in cybersecurity and am doing my CompTIA A+ and Security+ certificate in the meantime. It's been a bit of a minefield finding what to do for the best and getting a foot in the door having not come from an IT background. Any help welcome, thank you!

Alright so I'm a 30 year old Female, I have my diploma for Computer Informational Tech and Going for my degree, I have minute 1 year in Geek Squad and want to know if what I might be worth in the cybersecurity sector. I make less then I want to right now and I have a bit of confidence in my coding ability and I wish I had more. do you think with a diploma and 1 year of Geek experience any company would look at me with any considerations? I don't even have a GIT started yet.

I've been a Full Stack Engineer for a while, and was let go early last year. I was able to find a job at a local sme as a system admin / IT support guy to tide me over while I worked on a mid career switch to Cyber Security. I've been on platforms like HTB playing with their labs, and am getting my OSCP. I've tried to find internships/junior roles with no luck. Does anyone know if there are any companies that are open to a mid career switch person into cyber sec?

Working in erstwhile Dunn Solutions which has now merged with Kaar technologies Inc has been an incredibly enlightening experience. From starting as a simple PowerBI data analyst, I have had the opportunity to work on multiple technology stacks such as Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, FiveTran and more. I have also worked in AI as well, since the nature of consulting enables us to be hands on with all the latest technologies. Look forward to many more learning experiences.

I'm not from a fancy university. Never had a job. Just curiosity, Kali Linux, and a second-hand laptop. I applied for a cybersecurity internship at Hack The Box. Got rejected, but built a lab on Parrot OS, practiced with Metasploit, Evilginx2, Wireshark, Nmap, ran phishing simulations, and automated OSINT.
