I was excited to hear I had gotten a job at DataAnnotation. It was the first job I had in 2 years that wasn’t mowing baseball field grass. Only to find out that they fired me 3 days after I started. No warning, no due process, just a blank screen where my projects used to be that’s says my account is suspended due to poor quality work or terms of service violation. I feel I didn’t deserve this treatment. Has anybody else worked for this company and got the kiss of death like I did for no reason?

Don’t recommend if you’re new to vet teching, extremely small practice, one doctor, one tech which is me, a PM and one CSR who I have to cross train as an assistant. I am very unhappy here, as everything falls on me, and they make me do things that I find uncomfortable.. terrible phone anxiety, we’re having to call people like salesman and letting them know their pet is due for wellness. With my anxiety, I’m still told to call people. I just don’t recommend, I WILL NOT sink with this practice.

How does one learn more about Data Analytics as a Cybersecurity professional? I work for a Tier II company and work with the people in data analytics often. My infrastructure background leads to me knowing the systems they work on, but my knowledge stops when they start talking about data transformations and I assess the security of the databases and data warehouses they're working out of I stop short of anything but the barest unerstanding.
